The Devils UK Tour
UK tour dates for the Devils have been announced today, starting on UK publication date on 6th May, and they look a little something like this:
The London one is in conversation with Steven Pacey, which should be good value for I daresay you’ll get the despair not only of me talking nonsense but the joy of him reading a piece of the book to you. The Birmingham one will be in association with the UKs foremost specialist sf & fantasy booksellers, the Broken Binding. As usual, I’ll try and sign everything of mine you bring but it depends a bit on queue length and schedule. Sometimes it might be necessary to impose a limit then you’ll have to hit the back of the queue if you want further books done.
Also as usual, I daresay this news will be met with many howls of “why do you never come to Chipping Norton/The Outer Hebrides/My Nan’s House?” These tours generally get worked out by the publicity department at my publisher in response to pitches from bookstores (which in the UK mostly means Waterstones). The main consideration is getting a good turn out, so events in bigger cities and with stores that have good recent track records with events or particular enthusiasm for my books tend to be prioritised. I can only apologise if that means I’m not getting close to you this time around. Maybe next time. Of course, if you really want a book signed that badly, you could always make the trip to one of the events on the list OR preorder one of various signed special editions which are gonna be announced over the coming weeks.
Currently looks as if I’m going to be in the US for two weeks directly after the UK tour, then very likely I’m going to be in France in April (including Trolls and Legends festival in Belgium), and Spain in July (including Celsius festival in Aviles) – exact details are still being finalised but I’ll post those as soon as I’m able…
