A quick heads up that the print collection of issues 1-4 of the First Law Graphic Novel will be available for preorder from Monday, and here’s the cover:
Click upon it to reveal its full glory, then complain about it if you dare because I think it’s fricking GREAT. Along with all the internals, art is by Andie Tong and colours by Pete Pantazis, with letters from Bill Tortolini, adapted by Chuck Dixon, edited by Rich Young, all under the watchful single flaming eye of yours truly. Blind Ferret’s own press release is up at the site along with Friday’s page, but let me headline it for you – $15 gets you some 90 pages of full-colour graphic novel, along with some 40 pages of annotated extras, including pencils, inks, character designs, and an introduction from my old mate fantasy author and comics lover Peter V Brett.
Details of where and how to order on Monday…

awesome!
but still think the Cripple and Logen should be less handsome,we need more gritty ^^
Logen’s alright, he looks fine to me; as for the inquisitor, he should be more… err… “bent”. Then again, it’s just opinions so I take it there are plenty of folks out there who find the drawings to be just the way they’re supposed to be.
Amazon?
$ ?? *checks wallet and wonders why $*
That is a very nice composition shot, really quite nice framing. And, unlike some artists ( looking at you, Mr Ennis ) the faces are not all the same face, they are quite nicely drawn indeed.
I like it.
Have you ever eaten at “The Fat Duck”, Heston Blumenthal’s 3 star restaurant? I can’t stop watching his “feast” videos on youtube. Arrrrg.
Logan is not fugly enough.
It’s brilliant. Can’t wait! 🙂
Joe, did you say a hardback graphic Novel was going to follow after the paperback versions ? Really enjoying the visuals 🙂
