Half a War, the thrilling conclusion to my Shattered Sea trilogy, is out in but a few brief weeks, would you believe – on 16th July in the UK and 28th July in the US. You can read the first three chapters right now just over here, on my website. Should that give you a taste for it, you should find preorder information not that far away…

Thanks, Joe.
About time!!! Thanks for posting!
My wife is going to Barcelona this afternoon, so once the girls are in bed, it seems I have a date with 3 chapters and the remnants of a bottle of Hibiki. If you haven’t tried it Joe, then you should. It is a blend, but it sings in your mouth. And then tomorrow I will hate you until the middle of July.
Great,
Thats half an hour on the sofa to look forward to tonight with three chapters – but unlike Michael, probably just with a tea!
Joe, I will be coming to the signing to buy the book. I know you posted about other books being signed, will they all be for sale on the signing desk to buy and have signed including the First Law series or is it just Half a War you will have on the desk?
Darren,
Depends what event you’re talking about – if it’s a bookshop then usually they’ll have all my books in for a signing (if they’ve got any sense they will) but you’re probably better off contacting the bookseller directly to make sure.
Excellent start! I like how with the third book you waste no time and start in the middle of the action. Pricess Skara seems like a very interesting character.
Btw, it was great to see you a month ago in Barcelona. I was very happy to be a better, better, better, better friend of yours than my colleague Toni! 😉
Thanks Joe,
Its the Leeds (or maybe York) Waterstones signing I will be attending on 14th July.
The First Law has been read and re-read so many times it needs replacing. Thought id have them signed while im at it!
Will contact the store to make sure.
Thanks again
Thanks for the teaser!
Have been checking your site regularly for this.
Very much looking forward to reading (Already pre-ordered on my Kindle yonks ago.)
Just want to say thanks for keeping me entertained often and well. Always swift and satisfying(Unlike some other entertaining authors that seem to drag their feet… or start walking backwards…Ahem!).
Already looking forward to some of the internal struggles within the Rebels. Wouldn’t hate Thorn if she was a little vindictive 🙂 Maybe I’ll love her more
I was worried that the 4th Gentlemen Bastards book was going to come out at the same time as yours and ultimately push me to pick my who is my favourite. Father Moon smiled upon me, Mr. Lynch pushed the date of his book to answer all my prayers… but, the momentous relief that it wasn’t your book showed what side of the river I stand on.
Thanks again mate
